Financial Betting Account Checklist
Requirements for opening an Online Spread Betting Account.
If you are not a UK resident, you can open an account as long as current regulations in the country you reside in permit you to spread bet. We will require the following from you:
ONE Copy of photo indetification such as:
- Government-issued passport OR
- Photo drivers licence OR
- National ID Card, which is currently valid and includes date of birth or residential address
And ONE original Proof of Address such as:
- Utility bill proving your residential address, issued within 3 months, OR
- Annual utility or tax bill for current year. Please note that mobile phone bills are not accepted and bills cannot be printed off on the internet.
Spread Betting is a high risk investment and it is possible to lose more than your initial deposit rapidly and substantially. Spread Betting may not be suitable for everyone, so please ensure you fully understand the risks involved.
Spread Betting profits and losses are not currently subject to UK Capital Gains tax, however tax laws are subject to change and depend on individual circumstances.
