3.0 Account Summary Panel
Online Trading Platform Help Guide: Positions, Balances, Active Orders, Order History, Trade History and Cash History
The Online Platform Account Summary panel within the trading screen displays all of your account information and is presented using six tabs: Positions, Balances, Active Orders, Order History, Trade History and Cash History. The panel can be resized, hidden and the contents of each tab printed or exported to an external spreadsheet.
3.1 Positions Tab
View open positions & trades

The positions tab displays all open positions and the trades that make up those positions.

Column Descriptions
Product - The product column displays the name of the market.
Ccy - The Ccy column displays the currency the bet has been placed in.
Stake - The stake is the amount of money you have bet per minimum tick (per bet per) movement of the market. The currency of the stake is shown in the Ccy field.
Avg Price - The Avg price represents the average price of your overall position in that market.
Current - The Current represents the prevailing market price for the market you have a position in. This is updated every 30 seconds.
P/L - The P/L represents the profit or loss for the overall open position of that market located on that row.
Margin - The margin column displays the amount of margin needed to fund the position displayed on that row.
Close button

To close a position you can click on the close button situated to the left of each position. Clicking the close button will activate the deal ticket with the equal and opposite order to the position you hold. You will notice that only the appropriate buy/sell button will be activated.
Detail button

Clicking on the "Detail" button will drill into the net position to display each individual trade that makes up that overall position.
By clicking the "Detail" button, the position is broken down to list each individual trade.

Back Button

By clicking on the "Back" button the positions tab will go back to the overall net position.

3.2 Balance Tab
Individual currency balances
The balance tab displays all individual currency balances which are constantly updated.

If trades are placed in a currency other than that of your account currency, then a new cash balance is created.
Column Descriptions
Cash
The cash column displays your realised net cash position in that currency. The cash amount only reflects realised cash credits and debits from the account; it does not reflect any unrealised P/L or margin.
For example, P/L on an open position will not be reflected in the cash amount until the trade has been closed and a cash credit or debit has been made on the account.
Credit
The credit column displays any credit available on the account for that currency.
P/L
P/L represents all unrealised P/L in that currency for the account.
Margin
The Margin column represents all outstanding margin requirements for all open positions on that account for that currency.
Total
The total column represents the total currency liability for the account. It is the total of Cash + Credit + P/L + Margin requirement.
Exch Rate
The Exch Rate represents the exchange rate of the currency balance versus the base currency.
For example, to convert the US dollar balance back to the base currency of the account (GBP) you need the GBP/USD exchange rate.
Consolidating balances

The balance tab only displays the individual currency cash balances. It does not consolidate the balances back to the base currency of the account. The consolidated account summary can be seen as a summary bar situated below the Account Summary panel.

3.3 Active Orders Tab
View pending & contingent orders

The Active Orders tab displays all pending and contingent orders.

When an order has been confirmed, the details of the order will be displayed in the active orders tab, until it is filled, cancelled or expires.

Orders can be edited or deleted. To edit or delete an order you must scroll across and click on the appropriate button for that market.
Column Descriptions
The active orders tab displays information using the following columns.
Ref ID
See also: Tracking the order,
The Ref ID is the reference ID for that order. A Ref ID is created for every new order and is used to track the order from start to finish.
Link
The Link column describes if that order is an OCO and, if so, represents the order it is attached to.
Effect

The effect column displays the effect the order will have on the relevant account positions. Orders are either linked to an open position, or create new positions. If the order is linked to an open position and, if filled, results in that position closing, the effect of that order is "Close".On the other hand, if the order is new and is not linked with a trade, then the new order will create a trade that will be executed FIFO (First in first out).
Closing ID
The Closing ID is the trade Ref ID of the trade that the order is linked to. If the order is executed it will affect the trade that the Ref ID belongs to.
Order Type
The order type displays whether you have set a Stop order or a Limit order.
B/S
The B/S column will display the action of the order. This can be either Buy or Sell.
Stake
The stake represents the bet size of the order placed.
Price
The price column represents the required market price level for that order to be triggered.
Good Till
The Good Till column represents the expiry of the order. This can be either GTC (Good until cancelled), GFD (Good for the day) or GT (Good until date)
Limit

If the new order contains any contingent limit orders, the contingent limit order will be displayed in the limit column.
For example: If you place a new buy limit order on the UK 100 Sep 07 and attach an If Done limit to that order, the if done limit level will be displayed in the limit column. If you do not attach an if done limit, then that column will be blank.

Stop

If the new order contains any contingent Stop orders, the contingent Stop order will be displayed in the Stop column.

Pending Stops/Limits

When a contingent Limit, Stop or both become pending, i.e. the original order is executed, the pending orders will be shown as active orders in the same way as any other pending order.
Time
Represents the time that the order was placed by the user.
Date
Represents the date that the order was placed by the user.
Edit button
The Edit button allows you to edit the details of your active order. There is an edit button located to the left of each row of the active orders panel.
Cancel button

The Cancel button allows you to cancel any active/pending orders. There is a cancel button located to the left of each row of the active orders panel.
Please note that when canceling an active order, any contingent orders will also be cancelled.

By clicking the cancel button, a prompt will ask for confirmation that the order is to be cancelled.

3.4 Order History Tab
View historical status of your orders

The order history tab allows you to view the historical status of your orders. Orders will be displayed within the order history tab, if they have been filled, part-filled or cancelled.

Column Descriptions
Order Status
The order status displays if the order has been filled, part filled or cancelled.
Closing ID
The closing ID is the trade Ref ID of the trade that the order is linked to.
Order Type
The order type displays the order method. If the order was sent as a market order the column will show "Deal", a new limit order will show as "Limit Order" and a new stop order will show as "Stop Order".
Rejection Reason
Displays the reason why the order was not filled.
3.5 Trade History Tab
View confirmed trades
The trade history is a sequential list of all trades confirmed on the account.

Column Descriptions
Exec ID
All confirmed trades will be assigned a unique Exec ID (Execution ID) which is displayed in the Exec ID column.
3.6 Cash History Tab
View credits & debits
All cash history is displayed through the cash history tab. The cash history shows credits and debits that have been realised. If the credit/debit is associated with a trade, then all trade details will be displayed on the row of the entry.

Column Descriptions
Cr/Dr
Cr/Dr displays whether the entry is a credit or a debit.
Amount
This displays the amount of the credit or debit.
Summary Bar
The summary bar consolidates all cash, credit, P/L and margin balances in all currencies and converts them back to the base account currency. Using the consolidated figures, you can see what your overall trading resources are.
